the specification for WCS 1.0.0 (OGC 05-076) explains in huge detail
which paramters are mandatory and which are not in chapter 9.2.

The parameters you are mentioning come from the underlying GML schema
for WCS 1.0.0.
Please see http://schemas.opengis.net/wcs/1.0.0/getCoverage.xsd for
POST requests.

Have you tried out to update the POST request to the parameter set of
your GET request?

Best Regards
