Andrea,

You were using the CLI rather than the web interface? I missed that. As Luis noted, in that case 
the libs go into TE_BASE/resources/lib.

I amended the README to clarify that.

Yes. If you are running a web server you will need to add the jars to /WEB-INF/lib.
